Department 56 Post Office North Pole Series #56235 Lighted Building w/ Box

Department 56 "Post Office" from the North Pole Series, part of the Heritage Village Collection.
The piece has a "P" on the green wreath above the door, which is part of a set where the letters on various buildings spell out "NORTH POLE".

This hand-painted porcelain piece was introduced in 1992 and retired in 1999.
It measures approximately 9 1/2 inches in height.

This house/building is in excellent condition in the original box. No chips, cracks, or indication of misuse or abuse. The original flimsy cardboard sleeve and Styrofoam may have some wear, but the piece(s) looks as good as the day purchased.
